In addition, KB Jodan Inc., provides Medical Mobile Services and Certified Safety Officers to meet the needs of the Oil and Gas Industry on a short-term or long-term basis.

Karen Young is a successful entrepreneur who makes her home and runs her business in the Town of Lac La Biche, Alberta. Her company, KB Jodan Inc., is headquartered on the Cold Lake First Nation. She was voted by the Alberta Chamber of Commerce's Women Entrepreneur of the Year in the year 2008. Karen is a self-made self taught business woman who, with her husband Brian, operates and maintains a Private Medical Clinic and a Drug & Alcohol Training Centre, among other things, trains teaches and educates both the Government and Private Sector, Gas and Oilfield and Construction workers in safety techniques and medical emergency situations.
Karen is a Paramedic, a graduate of the Labour College of Canada, paralegal, a student in the faculty of medicine, and is experienced in both TORT and Contract Law. She holds many medical and safety certificates and has spent countless hours educating herself, improving her business, and building for the future, all while helping others to realize their dreams.
